Job Title: Travel L&D RN - Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team at Focus Staff. As a Travel L&D RN, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and healthcare professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

The Travel L&D RN will be responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating total nursing care and functions in accordance with established philosophy. This includes providing and directing patient care for a group of patients, relating effectively with other shifts/departments for optimal continuity of care, and providing clinical supervision for entry-level nurses and assisting in their development.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient and family level of understanding to provide effective communication and education
  • Developing, implementing, and evaluating the nursing plan of care
  • Managing both emotional and physical patients
  • Working collaboratively with medical staff
  • Providing quality care in a compassionate and professional manner
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Exhibits major team player qualities
  • Willingness to assist others when needed
  • Maintain a positive attitude toward work and others
  • Perform routine duties independent of supervision but consults with others as required
Work Experience:

At least 2 years of experience as a Labor and Delivery RN (Certified Labor and Delivery RN)
