Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at MedExpress in Fort Worth, TX.

About the Role:

The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing radiology services, including X-rays, and other basic nursing duties as assigned. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform accurate X-rays as ordered by the provider while practicing radiation safety precautions.
  • Prepare and transmit images to the radiologist for over-read and report results to providers.
  • Retrieve and archive radiographic reports; create/burn CDs in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform detailed and accurate data collection during clinical intake of patients to include taking and recording vital signs and patient history.
  • Assist patients as needed with walking, transfer, specimen collection, exam prep, etc.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited radiology technology program.
  • Active, unrestricted and state appropriate Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Radiologist Technologist limited scope (LMRT) license and/or certification.
  • Maintain CEU/CME's as applicable for licensure.
  • Active CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Urgent care experience.
  • Ability to perform venipuncture and lab specimen collections.
  • Experience working independently without the support of another radiologic technologist.
  • Experience working with pediatric and geriatric patients, taking patient vitals, performing point of care testing, performing employer health services, documenting in electronic medical records and PACS.
