Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Schuylkil Medical Imaging, a Rezolut Partner. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging services, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of achieving better health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify patient identity and review physicians' orders before initiating x-ray procedures.
  • Operate x-ray equipment to capture radiographic images of patients' bones, tissues, and organs as per physicians' written orders.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing their concerns.
  • Position patients safely, considering their mobility and comfort.
  • Minimize patient radiation exposure by using lead shields as necessary.
  • Ensure x-ray images are of high quality to prevent repeat procedures.
  • Collaborate with our Radiologist to determine further testing needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed x-ray procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • ARRT certification.
  • Appropriate state licensure.
