Job Summary
US Foods is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to join our team. As a Territory Sales Representative, you will be responsible for fostering customer relationships, managing deliveries, and developing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Foster strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
- Manage deliveries to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Develop new business opportunities through market research and lead generation.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and drive sales growth.
- Stay up-to-date on market trends, product innovations, and competitor activity to provide value-added services to customers.
Requirements
- 1+ year of sales experience in the foodservice industry or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build relationships and drive sales growth.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products and customer relationship management tools.
Work Environment
This role requires frequent travel to customer sites, often in variable weather conditions. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
