Job Title: Automotive Lead Technician

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is a leading provider of tire and auto service solutions in North America. As an Automotive Lead Technician, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Lead Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex automotive issues, leading a team of technicians, and ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair automotive issues to specifications, including brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
  • Lead and mentor a team of technicians to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
  • Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
Requirements
  • Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
  • Must have a minimum 5 years of automotive repair experience, completion of Vocational-Technical School program in a related field or demonstrated skills via third party certificates/assessment.
  • A.S.E. certification in at least 5 (five) of A1-A8 (L1 can be one of the five) is required.
  • Current Federal, State and Local certification/license where applicable.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
  • Reading, writing and math skills.
