The Senior Trust and Investment Operations Specialist is essential in overseeing the management of trust and estate administration, ensuring adherence to legal standards, and providing outstanding service to clients. This position will also focus on the supervision of external assets associated with the firm. The role combines technology, policies, and procedures to guarantee compliance, effective oversight, and client satisfaction.   • Oversee the daily management of trusts, ensuring all operations comply with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Facilitate the settlement of estates, which includes asset distribution, debt and tax payments, and final accounting.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for clients, attorneys, and beneficiaries, delivering timely and precise information.
  • Collaborate with legal and financial experts to assess estate plans, enhance operational workflows, and boost efficiencies.
  • Supervise and validate the accuracy of external investments, integrating data to provide a holistic view of client portfolios.
  • Assist in the reconciliation of security data for input, monitoring, and processing.
  • Work alongside the operations team to confirm software feeds for asset reporting across various custodians and alternative investment providers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Associate degree.
  • Strong grasp of trust and estate administration principles, including tax implications and fiduciary duties.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and systems utilized for trust and estate management.
  • Familiarity with Wisconsin-specific trust and estate laws and regulations is advantageous.
  • Preferred experience in finance and investments, particularly in account and security reconciliation.
