Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our in-house team of professionals at Creative Solutions in Healthcare. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered care to our residents, helping them achieve positive outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate residents' conditions for swallowing or cognitive deficits, and develop individualized treatment plans to increase their independence and functioning.
  • Provide skilled, medically necessary speech and language therapy assessments, as well as education for residents and caregivers.
  • Collaborate with other professionals for diagnostic swallowing procedures, and provide training and education to clients, family, caregivers, and other professionals.
  • Communicate changes in residents' conditions, and provide accurate and timely billing records and supporting clinical documentation.
  • Respond to family requests and concerns in a timely manner, and coordinate with Restorative Nursing and other Care staff.
Requirements:
  • Active/Valid Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology, and good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
  • SNF/Long term care experience preferred, with current knowledge of treatment practices and ability to manage patients with different types of personalities.
