Job Responsibilities
The Data Scientist II will oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing techniques or analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software. Additionally, the individual will apply data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets.
Required Skills and Qualifications
This position requires a Master's Degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or a closely related field; OR Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or a closely related field; OR Associates Degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or a closely related field WITH 4 years additional relevant experience. A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant focused experience is also required. Relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA Cloud Essentials, Microsoft Technical Associate, Certificate of Cloud Security, and others listed below are desirable.
Benefits
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $125,000 - $175,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
