About the Role:

Centra Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for conducting behavior assessments, designing and implementing behavior intervention plans, and providing support to classroom staff in managing students with challenging behaviors.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial and ongoing behavior assessments for students with a Positive Behavioral Supports Plan (PBSP) or who may need a PBSP.
  • Design, implement, and collect data on a PBSP.
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed.
  • Participate as a member of the Individualized Education Program (IEP) team and provide support during IEP meetings.
  • Provide support to classroom staff in managing students with challenging behaviors.
  • May include lifting and transferring of a student.

Qualifications:

  • M.A. or M.S. in either Psychology (TC 322) or Special Education (TC 323).
  • Current Certification by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • NYS Licensed Behavior Analyst (Preferred).
  • Knowledge of assessment and treatment through Applied Behavior Analysis teaching techniques in an education and/or residential setting.
  • Knowledge of ICF regulations.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with Special Needs children aged 3-22.
