We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at CHRISTUS Health. As a key member of our clinic staff, you will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a physician or registered nurse.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain vital signs, weigh patients, and collect specimens, including phlebotomy, as needed.
- Assist providers with examination and treatment of patients, as well as with procedures.
- Help manage patient flow through the clinic, answering phone calls and recording messages.
- Assist with scheduling tests, results, and pre-certification.
- Document patient information and assist with medication refills.
- Administer medications and immunizations as ordered by providers.
- Clean and restock exam rooms, as well as maintain equipment according to policy.
- Perform routine clerical duties, including locating patient charts and completing forms.
- CERT LPN License in the state of employment or compact.
- BLS certification.
