Position Overview:

The Foot & Ankle (F&A) Product Specialist is tasked with fostering the expansion and enhancement of the F&A healthcare professional (HCP) clientele within a designated region.

This role requires a comprehensive understanding of the product line to effectively present, demonstrate, and ensure optimal application of the offerings. The individual must continuously pursue new business opportunities while also nurturing existing relationships within the F&A product suite.

As the primary advocate for the product line in their territory, the F&A Product Specialist collaborates closely with the Regional Sales Manager to devise the business strategy, target audience, and overall market approach concerning F&A, ensuring that financial objectives are met within their area.


Core Responsibilities:
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the F&A product range, including all new offerings and competitive alternatives.
- Drive the promotion of the F&A product suite to new clients while identifying avenues to enhance sales with current customers.
- Provide education and guidance to surgeons and hospital personnel regarding the effective use of our F&A products.
- Cultivate and strengthen clinical relationships with key surgeons, clinicians, and evaluators.

Case Support:
- Maintain regular contact with surgeons and residents for all prospective or newly acquired clients. Provide necessary support to F&A surgeons and operating room staff during surgical procedures as required.
- Conduct F&A field visits for the assigned accounts and territory, including on-call and emergency room consultations as needed.
- Collaborate with Trauma partners to effectively expand and develop the F&A business within specific regions.

Inventory Oversight:

- Ensure sales tools and promotional materials are well-maintained and utilized to support regional efforts in line with company policies.

- Guarantee timely delivery of products to surgical sites.
- Meet Business Plan Objectives and sales targets through the appropriate use of approved resources.
- Complete all administrative tasks and other assigned duties accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure accurate invoicing for products provided.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or
- Associate Degree or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or
- 4 years of related experience in areas such as F&A, Trauma, or Orthopedics or
- Recent transition from Active Duty Military.

Experience and Skills:
- Required: Ability to operate in a lab or surgical environment.

- Strong interpersonal communication skills, capable of conveying technical information effectively in a hospital setting, along with negotiation, influencing, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and business acumen.

- Candidates must be self-driven with excellent relationship-building capabilities.
- Focus on both internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented structure.
- Possession of a valid U.S. driver's license.
- Successful completion of a background check, including a review of driving history.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
- Residence in or readiness to relocate to the designated territory.
- High attention to detail.

Preferred:
- A minimum of 3 years in sales, account management, or a related field is preferred. Military experience is valued.
- Experience in podiatry is preferred.
