Travel Speech Language Pathologist

The role of Speech Language Pathologist - SLP is available at a prestigious facility in Gig Harbor, Washington, for a duration of 13 weeks. This full-time position requires a highly skilled and dedicated professional to administer medically prescribed speech language pathology services to restore function and prevent disability following injury or loss of a body part.
As a Speech Language Pathologist- SLP, you will be responsible for:
- Administering medically prescribed speech language pathology services to patients.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records pertinent to patient treatment.
- Educating patients, other health professionals, and family members regarding speech therapy on an ongoing basis.
- Observing and evaluating patient responses during treatment, documenting and reporting findings accordingly.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A minimum of one to three years' experience as an SLP.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and use a computer effectively.
- Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move about, and push/pull equipment weighing up to 100 pounds.
