Nurse Leader in Pulmonary and Renal Care

Albany Medical Center is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Pulmonary and Renal care teams. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care, mentoring staff, and developing policies and programs that align with our hospital's mission.
About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions, effective communication, and compassionate care throughout the acute care stay.
We are looking for a dedicated professional who can provide direction and support to our unit-based staff, collaborate with other service leaders, and contribute to the attainment of short- and long-term goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate patient care and develop plans to meet individual needs
- Mentor and educate professional caregivers to improve patient outcomes
- Develop and implement policies, programs, and services aligned with our hospital's mission
- Provide leadership and visibility on the assigned primary shift of work
- Collaborate with Administrative Nursing Supervisor, Nurse Manager, and Assistant Vice President of Specialty Nursing Division
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of healthcare policies and regulations
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,151 - $132,249 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, you will enjoy opportunities for professional growth and development, flexible scheduling, and a dynamic work environment.
