Local Trucking Job Opportunity

**About the Job**

We are seeking a qualified CDL-A truck driver to join our team. As a local truck driver, you will be responsible for making deliveries in NC, SC, and VA. You will work 5 days a week with 2 days off and may be asked to work an occasional 6th day if volume requires it.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Drive a 53 ft. refrigerated trailer
* Make deliveries in NC, SC, and VA
* Work 5 days a week with 2 days off
* May be asked to work an occasional 6th day
* Must have at least 6 full months of solo experience driving a tractor-trailer in the last 12 months or at least 1 full year in the last 2 years
* Must have a good MVR and be able to pass all DOT pre-employment tests

**Benefits**

* $950-$1100 average per week
* Detention pay after the first 2 hours
* Full benefits in 60 days
* PTO
* Newer well-maintained equipment
* Mostly autos

**Training and Orientation**

* 3 day local orientation
* Drivers will train for their first 5 days @ $175 per day

**Requirements**

* Must live within 30 miles of Tarheel
* Must have your own reliable transportation to and from work
* Must be willing to start their shift in the afternoon or evening
