Diesel Fleet Technician

Join Sysco, a leading food distribution company, as a Diesel Fleet Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are safe and reliable for our drivers.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems.
- Conduct quality control checks on all maintenance and repairs to ensure they meet company standards.
- Work collaboratively with other technicians and supervisors to resolve complex issues and improve fleet performance.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in diesel mechanics preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair, with a focus on diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks.
- ASE certifications in automotive or medium/heavy-duty trucks a plus.
- Competitive hourly rate of $36.00 per hour, plus a $600 annual boot and tool allowance.
