New Mexico State University Alamogordo seeks a dedicated and experienced Graphic Design Professor to join our faculty team. This is a full-time, 9-month position that offers a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for teaching graphic design courses, including web-page design and video production. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Graphic Design or a closely related field, with experience in designing and delivering online courses, as well as professional experience in the Graphic Design industry.
Key Responsibilities- Teach 15 credits per semester in Graphic Design, including web-page design and video production
- Develop and maintain curriculum aligned with industry best practices and standards
- Provide timely feedback to students and participate in student orientation and recruiting events
- Maintain an on-campus presence and perform other related duties as assigned
To be considered for this position, applicants must possess:
- A Master's degree in Graphic Design or a closely related field
- Experience in designing and delivering online courses
- Professional experience in the Graphic Design industry
- Ability to teach face-to-face, online, and hybrid courses
- Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and with other faculty and administration
