We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Caesars Entertainment. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for protecting the assets of the company and providing a safe environment for employees and guests.
Key Responsibilities- Enforce company security regulations, including challenging guest interactions, handling active threats, and assisting with evacuation procedures.
- Patrol all sections of the casino and property, making and conducting chip fills, marker transfers, and sensitivity key escorts.
- Provide first aid, including CPR, when necessary, and assist with lost and found.
- Conduct interviews, investigate, and document all applicable incidents, and write reports as needed.
- Act as a role model, presenting oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment, and meet the attendance guidelines of the job.
- Enforce Project 21 policy and procedures, monitoring the area for underage gamblers, and suggest players in Caesars Rewards, Caesars Rewards App, Play by CR, and Caesars Rewards Visa.
- Suggest products, services, and experiences to guests, and respond calmly in crisis and stressful situations.
- Make rational decisions when handling guest and employee issues, and be able to physically restrain individuals when a condition of arrest exists.
- Must be able to acquire and maintain a Mississippi Gaming Permit issued by the Mississippi Gaming Commission.
- Must be able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must pass a drug test, and have previous guest service and security experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid Driver's License, and be able to get along with co-workers.
- Must maintain knowledge of current property events, promotions, and attractions, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting and independently, and present a well-groomed appearance.
- Must adhere to uniform/appearance requirements, and be able to complete and pass multiple online training classes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel preferred, and ability to appreciate and be friendly with all Caesars Entertainment team members who are of various ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
- Able to accept direction of Senior Leadership, and must be able to obtain and maintain CPR/First-aid certification.
