About the Role

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinical Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory operations team, you will be responsible for providing technical oversight and leadership in our clinical laboratory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex laboratory tests and procedures, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Provide training and mentorship to new laboratory staff, ensuring they meet competency standards.
  • Lead projects and initiatives to improve laboratory operations and quality.
  • Manage instrument operations, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with CAP requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science, medical technology, or a related field.
  • 4 years of laboratory experience, including 1 year in a lead or senior technologist role.
  • Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Technologist certification, with continuing education requirements.
  • Ability to train and mentor staff, interpret laboratory regulations, and develop presentations for senior leaders.
