Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerial Construction Supervisor to join our team at Charter Communications. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, organization, and execution of aerial construction efforts for new construction, maintenance, and rebuild projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate with in-house construction teams and contract labor to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity within the aerial construction department.
  • Coordinate with engineers and developers to design and implement construction plans, including the installation and location of equipment and cable.
  • Perform site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to terms and conditions of agreements.
  • Reconcile submitted invoices to work completed in the field and ensure accurate payment.
  • Coordinate permitting and make-ready processes to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Communicate with management to provide updates on construction progress and address any concerns or issues.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of OSP construction work experience in the Telecom field.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • CDL License.
  • Industry and vendor-specific certifications and training (NCTI, SCTE, BCT/E).
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively, demonstrate leadership qualities, and supervise and motivate others.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and company products and services.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project supervision experience in HFC/FTTH construction.
  • Supervisory or leadership experience.
Working Conditions

This role requires working in an office and field environment, with exposure to dust, dirt, noise, insects, rodents, pets, and cleaning solutions. You will also work outdoors in all kinds of weather and at various heights above ground on telephone/power poles.
