Job Title: Radiology Technologist

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in Hinsdale, Illinois.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures and provide exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of radiographic equipment and techniques, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radiographic equipment, including X-ray, CT, and MRI machines.
  • Position patients, adjust equipment, and secure immobilization devices as needed to ensure high-quality images.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Enter exam charges, start, complete, and verify exams for physician interpretation.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in radiologic technology and patient care.
Requirements:
  • Active IEMA license as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Minimum experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with new graduates accepted.
  • Knowledge of all areas of general diagnostic radiology.
  • ARRT Registry within one year of employment.
Working Conditions:
  • May be exposed to ionizing radiation and infectious diseases.
  • May be required to work rotating shifts, alternate days, and overtime.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and transport patients as needed.
