Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Hinsdale, Illinois.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a high level of patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray, CT, MRI, and other modalities
  • Position patients, adjust equipment, and secure immobilization devices as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate records and database entries
  • Assist with patient transport and positioning
  • Operate radiographic equipment and select technical factors to optimize image quality
  • Check equipment daily and report any malfunctions or hazards
Requirements:
  • Active IEMA License
  • Minimum experience as a Radiologic Technologist (new grad accepted)
  • Knowledge of general diagnostic radiology
  • ARRT Registry within one year of employment
Working Conditions:
  • Able to respond to requests to work on short notice
  • Flexible in starting times to meet demand
  • May require rotating shifts and alternate days
  • Willing to work overtime when requested
  • Able to periodically take call
  • May be exposed to ionizing radiation
  • May be exposed to infectious diseases
