Job Title: Resort Sous Chef

Gecko Hospitality is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in managing the kitchen, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, inventory management, and kitchen operations.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Lead and motivate the kitchen team to achieve sales and guest count targets.
  • Develop and implement cost-control measures to optimize food, labor, and beverage expenses.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of high-volume kitchen management experience.
  • Proven track record of creating a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations and knowledge of systems, methods, and processes.
