Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning and implementing resident-centered activities and programs that promote socialization, physical activity, and cognitive stimulation.
  • Collaborate with the community team to ensure a balanced and diverse activity program that meets the needs and interests of our residents.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, organizations, and schools to secure volunteer support and resources for our activities program.
  • Document and track resident participation and feedback to inform program development and improvement.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in activity programming and resident care.
Qualifications:
  • One year of experience in senior living or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to lead activities and motivate volunteers and team members to participate in social events and activities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and team members.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Sunrise applications.
