Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards related to Employee Safety, Food Safety, and Quality Assurance.
  • Maintain a commitment to uphold BRC standards.
  • Utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during job execution.
  • Collaborate with Supervisors to uphold cleanliness standards and enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Establish cleaning priorities based on guidance from Quality Assurance Supervisors or the Master Sanitation Schedule.
  • Operate cleaning equipment effectively and monitor chemical concentrations as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Conduct accurate inventory assessments and maintain cleanliness in equipment and chemical storage areas.
  • Store chemicals and safety equipment in compliance with safety protocols.
  • Provide training and support to new team members.
  • Employ various cleaning tools, including high-pressure water hoses, to thoroughly sanitize production equipment.
  • Perform general maintenance of company grounds.
  • Apply cleaning agents for sanitation and sterilization processes.
  • Prepare necessary cleaning solutions according to established procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with the Quality Assurance team to achieve operational goals.
  • Conduct routine cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping.
  • Operate floor sanitation machinery, including scrubbers.
  • Maintain cleanliness in restrooms and break areas.
  • Restock supplies in communal areas as needed.
  • Manage waste disposal by emptying trash receptacles and replacing liners.
  • Dust and clean office furniture and fixtures.
  • Maintain windows and windowsills.
  • Organize and clean janitorial closets.
  • Complete special projects and additional tasks as assigned by management.

Required Skills:

  • Able to work required shift hours and overtime as necessary.
  • Capable of climbing stairs and working in various temperature conditions.
  • Proficient in using approved cleaning supplies while wearing appropriate PPE.
  • Ability to operate a forklift.
  • Meet productivity standards while working independently or as part of a team.
  • General knowledge of cleaning chemicals used within the facility.
  • 0 – 2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications or schematics.

Compensation: Base salary range from $33,280 - $60,320.
