We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Engineer to lead our facility and plant engineering, utilities, water, and wastewater operations at our Viskase Osceola, AR facility.
Key Responsibilities- Lead capital project design reviews and manage plant capital projects and expense budgets.
- Plan, forecast, and manage plant capital budget, ensuring budget compliance and effective spending.
- Manage the operation of the plant's environmental controls, including Sulfur MACT units and Wastewater treatment.
- Lead energy improvement programs and manage the plant's energy consumption.
- Manage facility support operations, including the powerhouse and electrical distribution.
- Maintain the building and grounds, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
- Provide 24/7/365 engineer support to production departments and hire, train, and develop a strong engineering and utilities team.
- Ensure customer department's needs are met in a timely, efficient, and effective manner.
- Use metrics to drive maintenance process improvement and lead with a zero injury mindset.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline with practical experience commensurate with the position.
- 7-10 years in a plant leadership role, with experience managing a team of at least 10+.
- Experience with large complex manufacturing facilities that operate 24/7/365, preferably in a chemical plant environment.
- Strong understanding of energy conservation and efficiency improvement, maintenance systems, and processes.
- Strong understanding and experience in managing a large, complex budget and driving productivity improvement.
