Job Overview

The Wireless Hardware division is dedicated to the development of wireless technology for eTeam's product offerings. We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team on a contractual basis to evaluate and characterize cellular radio hardware designs across our diverse product range.

Essential Qualifications

  • A degree in electronics or a minimum of 3-5 years of practical experience in RF testing and measurement.
  • Proficiency in RF testing methodologies and equipment within the 600MHz to 6GHz frequency spectrum.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers, cellular call boxes, load pull tuners, oscilloscopes, and DC power supplies.
  • Experience conducting extensive characterization efforts on RF components or systems utilizing fully automated testing setups.
  • Familiarity with scripting and debugging is advantageous (Python, Matlab, etc.).
  • Knowledge of data analysis tools is beneficial (Tableau, Excel, Matlab, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of schematic reading and PCB layout review is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that testing setups are properly calibrated and operating at peak efficiency consistently. Collaborate with lab management for the maintenance of testing equipment.
  • Utilize test setup automation tools to gather parametric data on cellular hardware designs. Collect measurement data from testing stations and present it to design engineers for analysis. Assist design engineers with data processing and visualization tasks.
  • Work alongside rework technicians to facilitate hardware modifications with new component revisions for characterization purposes.
  • Partner with test automation engineers to troubleshoot testing script and station issues, ensuring that rack equipment and testing software are current.
