Job Summary

HH MedStar Health Inc. is seeking an Auditor for Financial Operations to assist in the execution of audits and other projects as assigned by Internal Audit (IA) Management.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of auditing experience and a Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or Finance. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification is also required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in audits of the organization to test that controls are in place and functioning as intended.
  • Contribute to the achievement of established department goals and objectives and adhere to department policies, procedures, quality standards, and safety standards.
  • Comply with governmental and accreditation regulations.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary quality and service improvement teams as appropriate.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or Finance.
  • 1-2 years of auditing experience.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and/or Access, PowerPoint, and Exchange.
  • Experience with data analysis/computer-assisted audit techniques (CAAT) tools and audit management software.
