Key Objectives and Responsibilities

  • Oversee quality management frameworks to guarantee adherence to industry benchmarks and regulations.

  • Examine quality metrics to detect patterns and execute corrective and preventive measures.
  • Administer evaluations and recertifications of expired raw materials.

  • Address escalated technical concerns, ensuring prompt and effective solutions.
  • Engage with clients to comprehend their product requirements, collect feedback, and offer resolutions.
  • Develop and validate alternative raw materials for current products.
  • Support development chemists with technical insights and customer data for innovation and method advancement.
  • Exhibit awareness and proficiency regarding both the Environmental Management System (EMS) and the Quality Management System (QMS), including policies, objectives, and compliance obligations related to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) system.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

Capability to conduct odor and visual color assessments.

Proficient in operating cleaning machinery for product evaluation (e.g., floor stripper, automatic scrubber, etc.).

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.

  • Travel of 10-25% may be necessary for customer support.
  • A Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a closely related discipline is required. Additional certifications in industry-specific courses are advantageous.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in chemistry, formulation, and technical support, with a background in quality and production processes.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Solid comprehension of software tools and applications pertinent to technical support and production.
  • Dedication to continuous improvement and client satisfaction.
  • Three to five years of relevant experience.
