About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse PACU PRN to join our team at Swedish Medical Center.

As a Registered Nurse PACU PRN, you will oversee and direct the care of post surgical/post procedural patients, bringing specialized skills to serve specific age groups, including adult, adolescent, geriatric, or pediatric populations.

You will rotate to areas other than your assigned service area/s, and perform only those duties for which you have demonstrated competency.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-quality patient care, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients and families
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitoring and reporting patient progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
  • Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • ACLS & PALS Certifications
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN Preferred
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience required. PACU, Ambulatory, Critical Care or ED experience preferred
