Job Overview

EMH&T is seeking a skilled CAD Technician to collaborate with our Industrial & Logistics team. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of experienced civil designers, engineers, or project managers to create technical drawings and plans for land site development and railway projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating accurate and detailed engineered construction plans using AutoCAD/Civil3D and/or ArcMap
  • Drafting technical engineering design components, including plans, profiles, exhibits, and base map changes
  • Assisting with preliminary and completed layouts, design concepts, and detailed design drawings

Requirements:

  • Technical education or specialized training in CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, Microstation/Open Roads, or Integraph
  • Knowledge of basic math and geometry involved in drawing production and use
  • Experience with drafting and a self-starter attitude

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
