Business Development Specialist

The Finger Lakes Community College is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join their team. As a representative of the college, you will be responsible for promoting our educational opportunities to local businesses and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Workforce Development Training – Pathways grant.
This is a part-time, grant-funded position with an estimated salary range of $23.71 - $27.33 per hour. If hired, you can expect to work approximately 20 hours per week, with some flexibility in scheduling.
In this role, you will generate new partnerships with local businesses and FLCC, recruit potential students into our pathways, and provide office support as needed to ensure seamless enrollment into FLCC's programs. You will also track all KPIs for this grant to ensure we meet our target goals.
As a successful candidate, you will have a Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, three years of experience working in the private industry, and proven ability to work with businesses on partnerships. You should also have effective communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, and background in marketing and advertising is preferred.
