About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Structural Analysis Engineer to join our team at Boeing Defense, Space & Security in Hazelwood, MO. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for performing structural analysis using well-defined analysis tools to develop the structural environment, characteristics, and performance of our aircraft and weapons systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute structural analysis plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
  • Analyze and report test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
  • Define and document certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied.
  • Support in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • 2+ years' experience performing stress analysis using both hand calculations and finite element tools.
  • Ability to develop technical reports and present results.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active U.S. Security Clearance in the past 24 months.
  • Experience in fatigue and damage tolerance analysis.
  • 2+ years' experience working with aircraft stress analysis/structural analysis.
  • Boeing analysis tools (CAESAR, Lifeworks, Mechanica, Common Structures Workstation) experience.
