Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis at Providence Saint John's Health Center. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality images and providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate various imaging equipment, including CT scanners and X-ray machines, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring accurate and safe positioning.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, imaging procedures, and results.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements
  • 1 year of recent experience in radiologic technology, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and ARRT registration.
  • Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Philips Big Bore 16 and Brilliance 64 CT scanners.
  • Knowledge of MAKO protocols and general interventional procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
