Certification and Licensure Requirements

As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist at Per Diem - Providence Saint John's Health Center, you will be required to submit various certification and licensure documentation as per facility and state requirements.

Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in nuclear medicine and possess a strong understanding of Epic, our charting system.

The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, and will be responsible for completing up to 10 hours of Providence and specialty-specific modules independently before being cleared to work.

Responsibilities
  • Float to less or like specialties where needed and qualified
  • Experience with storage handling disposal of radioactive materials, IV Starts, HIDA scan required
  • Cardiac stress testing, Lung scan, Bone scan, Thyroid scan, Uptake, Computerized documentation experience required
  • Isolation precautions awareness required
Requirements
  • 1 year recent experience in nuclear medicine
  • AHA BLS certification
  • ARRT (with nuclear medicine specialty) or NMTCB - either certification will suffice
  • Epic Experience required
