Riverside Community Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Engagement Specialist Intern. As a key member of our Behavioral Health Community Partnership program, you will have the opportunity to work directly with consumers, ages 18+, and contribute to a growing team advocating for integration between physical and behavioral health services.

This internship offers a diverse experience, working alongside Care Coordinators and people served, with the chance to travel with consumers and work with them in the community. You will be responsible for assisting consumers in accessing community-based resources, participating in staff meetings, and documenting interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside consumers to help them access community-based resources
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss consumer progress and team goals
  • Document interventions with consumers and organize related paperwork
  • Collaborate with a minimum of 3-4 consumers per week at a community-based location or at a Riverside site
