Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care to patients and families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Assess and prioritize patient needs, and delegate tasks to nursing staff as needed.
- Develop and implement educational programs for nursing staff and patients.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in pediatric nursing.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement policies and procedures.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Current nursing licensure in the State of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric nursing.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited School of Nursing.
Working Conditions:
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks effectively. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
