Job Overview

Quik Travel Staffing is currently seeking a Travel Nurse RN specializing in Operating Room for an exciting travel nursing opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

The Travel Nurse will be responsible for:

  • Delivering comprehensive perioperative care in recovery, procedure, and operating rooms.
  • Ensuring the operating room is properly sterilized and equipped with all necessary supplies and instruments.
  • Monitoring patient vitals and promptly reporting any adverse reactions.
  • Developing and implementing tailored care plans for surgical patients.
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Responding to medical emergencies and alerting the appropriate team members when necessary.
  • Exhibiting flexibility to travel to various assignment locations.
  • Complying with the facility's required schedule.
  • Completing onboarding requirements in a timely manner.
  • Adapting quickly to new environments while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of surgical experience as an Operating Room nurse.
  • A degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • A current state-specific RN license in good standing, or a compact state RN license.
  • BLS certification (ACLS certification may be required).
