Role Summary:
The primary responsibility involves the thorough cleaning of governmental facilities, ensuring compliance with all service standards. The Janitorial Worker is required to possess a valid driver's license to facilitate the transportation of team members between locations. A professional appearance is essential, along with the ability to work independently and demonstrate reliability. The employee will execute all janitorial tasks as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW).
Key Responsibilities:
* Adhere to and complete daily work schedules.
* Procure necessary cleaning supplies.
* Understand and implement all safety protocols and emergency procedures.
* Maintain daily and weekly activity logs.
* Drive and uphold a satisfactory driving record.
* Efficiently clean restrooms, including urinals, sinks, toilets, and showers; restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet tissue; manage waste disposal and ensure cleanliness of restroom floors.
* Perform vacuuming of carpets and mats using appropriate equipment.
* Dust mop and wet mop floors in restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and hallways.
* Manage centralized waste disposal.
* Conduct detailed cleaning tasks, including entrance glass doors.
* Execute overhead dusting of air vents.
* Collaborate effectively with team members or work independently to meet daily objectives.
* Maintain a consistent attendance record.
Preferred Experience:
Prior janitorial experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
Qualifications:
* Driven by a mission, aligned with core values, and a positive presence in the workplace.
* Maintain a valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record to operate company vehicles.
* Successfully pass drug screening and background checks.
* Meet security requirements for access.
* Eligibility to work in the United States.
Special Skills and Abilities:
Interpersonal: Ability to engage with diverse clients and staff.
Written Communication: Basic writing skills for inventory management.
Oral Communication: Proficiency in understanding English.
Equipment: Competence in using vacuums and other janitorial tools as necessary.
Additional Qualifications:
Mental Effort:
Capability to work autonomously and effectively coordinate job activities.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and endure physically demanding tasks. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods.
Visual Effort:
