Position Overview:

The Plant Controller role is a permanent, full-time opportunity that offers a significant chance to contribute to our financial oversight.

In this role, you will be tasked with overseeing all financial functions within the manufacturing plant, which includes cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Additionally, you will ensure adherence to all tax and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all financial activities of the manufacturing facility, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and asset management.
  • Establish and maintain manufacturing cost systems, focusing on cost management and reduction strategies.
  • Generate precise and timely monthly financial reports, offering insightful analysis to aid in decision-making.
  • Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes for the plant, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Manage fixed asset oversight, including depreciation schedules.
  • Guarantee compliance with tax regulations by preparing and submitting necessary documentation.
  • Lead both internal and external audit processes, ensuring all financial operations meet industry standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and minimizing costs.
  • Collaborate with plant management and corporate finance teams to create strategic financial plans.
  • Provide financial insights and guidance to plant management, facilitating informed operational decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required; MBA or CPA is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing accounting, with a strong emphasis on cost management.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
  • In-depth knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, tax, and audit processes.
  • Exceptional financial reporting skills, capable of presenting complex financial data clearly.
  • Strong analytical abilities, with the capacity to interpret financial information and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration across all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and cost reduction methodologies.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
