Position Overview

The Credit Research Analyst will conduct in-depth research on corporate issuers, analyzing their creditworthiness and providing recommendations to inform investment decisions. This role requires a strong understanding of financial markets, credit analysis, and investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed research on corporate issuers, including financial analysis, industry trends, and credit risk assessment.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate creditworthiness and provide recommendations to investment teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including equity colleagues and sell-side research analysts, to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments to inform investment decisions.
  • Communicate complex research findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including portfolio managers and clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in investment industry, preferably in credit analysis or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex research findings to stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling tools, such as Excel and Bloomberg.
