Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Hospital Medicine team at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care to acutely ill patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions, including liver disease, end-stage renal disease, respiratory conditions, and more.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with an Associate's Degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelor's in Nursing, or Master's in Nursing.
  • Valid RN License.
  • 1 year of Registered Nursing experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to navigate electronic medical records.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in hospital medicine or medical/surgical nursing.
  • Certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., CCRN, CNL).
  • 2 years or more of nursing experience with current BLS certification.
