Arkansas Children's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer to join our Sports Medicine team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care to our student-athletes, ensuring their safety and well-being on and off the field.
Responsibilities:
Provide sports-related care to athletes, including injury evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation.
Make return-to-play decisions based on athlete's medical status.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, including follow-up care.
Ensure the athletic training room is clean, organized, and safe for athletes.
Assist with supply ordering and inventory management.
Collaborate with the sports medicine coordinator to manage budgets and resources.
Refer athletes to healthcare providers as needed and coordinate follow-up care.
Develop and implement emergency action plans and sports medicine policies with school and district personnel.
Ensure accurate completion and dissemination of school insurance claim forms.
Educate and advocate for patient/athlete/family needs.
Be available by phone to assigned school when not on campus.

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or related field.
1 year of experience in athletic training or related field.
Certification in Athletic Training (AR) from the Arkansas State Board of Athletic Training.
