Job Summary:

As a Per Diem ICU Nurse at Adventist Health Howard Memorial, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment. This position requires a skilled and compassionate nurse who can work effectively in a fast-paced ICU setting, providing individualized care to patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation, analyzing assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues.
  • Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes, implementing the plan and coordinating care delivery to promote health and a safe environment.
  • Collaborates with the healthcare team to provide patient care in a safe, healing, humane, and caring environment, providing learning opportunities for patients, families, and team members.
  • Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care, delegates appropriately, and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience.
  • Acute care facility experience preferred.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required.
