Medical Assistant

TGB3 is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to assist practitioners in performing Compensation and Pension Exams for military Veterans at various sites across the USA.
This is a contract opportunity that requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Responsibilities:
- Perform ancillary services such as pulmonary function tests (PFT), ankle brachial index (ABI), and electrocardiograms (EKG)
- Administrative duties include greeting Veterans, managing office functions, ensuring exam entry is complete, and answering phone calls
- Phlebotomy and lab services will be performed as needed
Requirements:
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited training course
- Organizational and problem-solving skills, exceptional communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good interpersonal skills and a willingness to adapt to changing situations
- Basic computer skills
