As a Delivery Driver at Airgas, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering compressed gas cylinders to local and regional business customers from an Airgas branch or plant location using a company-provided tractor trailer.
Key Responsibilities- Load, unload, deliver, and return compressed gas cylinders while frequently interacting with Airgas customers.
- Handle the loading, unloading, and delivering procedures necessary to transport cylinder gases and hard goods to area branches and plants.
- Drive truck to destination, prepare receipts for load picked up, and maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations.
- Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, water, and others as required.
- Valid TX Class A CDL with Hazmat and Air Brake Endorsements.
- Minimum of 1 year of Commercial Driving Experience and/or Certification from a validated CDL Driving School.
- Must regularly lift up to 60 pounds and move more than 125 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment.
- Must be able to obtain a forklift operator certification.
- Competitive pay and quarterly bonuses.
- Monday-Friday, DAY SHIFT schedule.
