Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bakery Team Member to join our team at Sam's Club. As a Bakery Team Member, you will be responsible for preparing fresh baked items daily, following recipes and production needs, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards and sanitation guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Bakery Department Merchandise: Operate baking equipment, follow recipes/make-up instructions, and wrap, label, and store merchandise according to company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure Quality and Date Control: Maintain work area according to company policies and procedures, ensure quality and date control standards for bakery items, and secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise.
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Maintain a positive attitude, smile, greet, and thank members, and provide exceptional customer service to members across the club as needed.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team, communicate with team members, and be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
