Position Overview

As a Client Service Representative, you will be responsible for navigating our Benefit Administration Tool to assist customers with their benefits enrollment needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team in a growing organization, working with diverse, global organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the account management team in resolving day-to-day customer inquiries and escalating issues related to eligibility and member claims.
  • Develop and leverage knowledge of customer needs and issues to deliver world-class service to our clients.
  • Maintain accurate customer files and records for general reference and office use.
  • Assist the account management team in managing the end-to-end process for customer interactions as well as carrier relationships for day-to-day customer issue resolution.
  • Keep management informed of customer or carrier issues.
  • Participate in weekly client meetings.
  • Support the annual Open Enrollment process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in health insurance or employee benefits industry.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills as well as sales negotiation skills.
  • Life & Health License (preferred).
  • Must be proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Self-motivated and driven. Maintain a sense of urgency and ability to work with and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication, including the ability actively listen, and problem solve with minimal assistance.
  • The ability to multitask, prioritize, work independently, and use discretion surrounding sensitive information.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude.
