Exciting Opportunity for a Preconstruction Director

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Preconstruction Director to join our Engineering team at Jobot. This pivotal role offers a unique chance to lead our preconstruction projects and be at the forefront of our organization's success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the preconstruction team to ensure all projects are planned and executed effectively, on time, and within budget.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of preconstruction activities.
  • Develop and implement preconstruction strategies, including cost estimation, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Review and approve project design and construction documents to ensure they meet all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on complex construction issues to maintain the highest levels of safety and quality.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and efficiency in all preconstruction activities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to meet their needs and expectations.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations to senior management, clients, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a senior preconstruction role.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading preconstruction teams and managing complex construction projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in construction software and other relevant technology.
  • A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
