Job Title: Construction Superintendent

SST Direct is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee the construction of federal government health care projects, including VA Hospitals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and oversee the Company's health and safety program, ensuring adherence to safety standards at work sites and identifying hazards through safety inspections.
  • Investigate and report accidents promptly, and hold regular toolbox talks with trade partners to promote safety awareness.
  • Interface with customers during construction, acting as a liaison between the customer and the Company.
  • Manage and evaluate the performance of trade partners, and make recommendations to upper management on how to improve the customer experience and construction process.
  • Collaborate with trade partners to improve quality and efficiency, and work with the management team to share feedback and improve project planning activities.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of commercial Superintendent construction experience.
  • Experience working with the Army Corps of Engineers is highly preferred.
  • Computer literate.
