Construction Management Intern

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to support our Construction Management Department as a Student Intern. This internship is an excellent opportunity for students pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist project managers and engineers in daily operations on construction sites, ensuring seamless project execution and effective communication.
  • Perform clerical duties such as organizing project documentation, preparing reports, and maintaining records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Support the procurement of construction materials and maintain inventory records, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing delays.
  • Participate in quality control procedures and assist in preparing deficiency reports, contributing to the improvement of project outcomes.
  • Attend project meetings and take minutes, ensuring all relevant information is documented and communicated to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with team members to facilitate effective communication and project execution, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in an Associates or Bachelor's degree program in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with construction management software and tools is a plus, but not required.
